Seeking an experienced PATIENT COORDINATOR who is interested in working in a vibrant community in the southern half of New Hampshire as part of a dynamic, experienced, and fun team of professionals in a supportive environment.
REPORTS TO: Practice Manager
Perform secretarial duties using specific knowledge of dental/medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.

The employee is occasionally needing to lift Up to 25 pounds; the employee is frequently needing to lift Up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment
The employee is occasionally exposed to Fumes or airborne particles; Toxic or caustic chemicals; Risk of electrical shock; Risk of radiation.
Previous experience in the dental field preferred, though on-the-job training is provided. Some knowledge of dental and medical terminology is necessary to be able to answer any questions that the patient might have. Must be able to adapt to any type of situation, think quickly on their feet, and treat each patient as a valued client and ensure that they are cared for in a quick and efficient manner. They must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Motivating team player. Strong computer and analytical skills. HS or GED education and/or higher.

Navigating the Internet to find information, including the ability to open and configure standard browsers; use searches, hypertext references, and transfer protocols; and send and retrieve electronic mail (e-mail).
Spreadsheets
Using a computer application to enter, manipulate, and format text and numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and columns; and create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs.
Word Processing
Using a computer application to type text, insert pictures, format, edit, print, save, and retrieve word processing documents.
