Raynor Dental is delighted to announce its second annual Free Dental Day, taking place on November 30th at two Raynor Dental locations – 650 Court Street, in Keene – and, 60 Hancock Road, in Peterborough – from 8 am to 4 pm.
Following last year’s successful event, where the Raynor Dental team served nearly 150 patients, the decision to make it an annual event was immediately and wholeheartedly embraced by everyone involved. Despite delivering nearly $40,000 of free care in the first year and finding a regular dental home for some of the participants, the fundamental challenge with access to quality, affordable dental insurance or other options, remains unchanged.
“We know that the gap between the dental care required and what care people are receiving is still huge,” said Dr. Stephanie Raynor. “Everyday, people are denied basic dental care because they don’t have affordable insurance options or other means to pay for care, so this is something we will continue to address in our community by offering a whole day of free dental care for those in need.”
In addition to Free Dental Day, Raynor Dental has also rolled out an affordable Wellness Program for preventive care, which provides all the basic Dr. exams, cleanings, x-rays and even an emergency exam for one low annual fee. This is an alternative to insurance options, which are out of reach for many families.
Free Dental Day is for individuals & families without insurance, who currently have difficulty affording regular dental care. Services, including cleanings, fillings, x-rays, and extractions, will be provided at no cost to the patient.
Treatment will be limited to a single exam and procedure per person. All Free Dental Care will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants do not have to be current patients of Raynor Dental. Valid ID or other identification will be required. No prescriptions will be written. No prior registration available or necessary.
